Our first album, Reverie, dropped in the fall of 2015, followed by our first music video for “Pillar” in early 2016. We’ve put out a series of singles, both this year and last, that will make up our forthcoming Deaf Beneath the Waves EP, set for digital release on May 4.

Our first single is out today and it's called '406'.

We found it very important to have a bigger hand in the recording process, and decided to self-produce this material. In the spring of 2016, we isolated ourselves at a farmhouse in Northern Ontario for a week and a half to begin tracking, and then finalized the recordings at The Root Down Studio back home in Toronto. The result was songs that are darker, and more spacious than Reverie, incorporating more electronic sounds, synthesizers, ambient noise, and effected guitars and vocals.

The EP’s new single, “406,” is about trying to close the growing distance between two people in a failed relationship. It explores ideas of false hope and the harsh realities of a newfound loneliness, pulling at loose threads through selective memory.
